Why, not just what
Commits explain the reasoning, not the diff. Six months later someone opens that file and needs to know why.
Measure, then decide
If we think it is slow we measure it. If we think it is dangerous we reproduce it. Then we fix it.
Say what is missing
We do not write about features that do not exist yet. People finding out later is much worse.
Before you apply
This is not a big company. There is no fixed hiring process and no fixed role. Apply, we read it, we talk, and we work out together what shape this could take. Ask about terms first if you want — it saves us both time.
